Ethics refers to the philosophical study of the right and wrong of human behavior. It asks what are the morally right ways to behave. While right and wrong might appear black and white, it doesn’t take long for us to stumble upon situations where making the right decision is complex and unclear. So, throughout time, philosophers have come up with ethical frameworks to help us think through moral dilemmas. So, let’s look at a few common ethical frameworks to see which one resonates most with you. Today, we’ll look at Utilitarianism, Deontology, and Virtue Ethics.

I think calling an outcome of an ethical framework a criticism of the framework is very bad phrasing no? because like the only reason you would do that is if you’re viewing it from another equally arbitrary ethical frame work. The only good true criticism of an ethical framework would be if you were to state that the framework contained contradictions no?
