Surely the doctor who stole that poor woman's eggs should be up on charges too?

It's official. Abigail Breslin deserves an Oscar at some point in her life.

Some people are born to be actors. Even at 6, she has so much talent!

It broke my heart when Patty said "No! Its not true!" Incredible acting!!

Lea Thompson was amazing in this episode; my heart truly broke for her. ADA Novak knew Michelle wasn't a bad person, and by badgering Patty, she gave her just the push she needed to do the right thing for the little girl.

I feel bad for Michelle and she is legitimately a victim for having her eggs taken without her consent, but she still kidnapped a little girl, biological daughter or not, and severely messed her up emotionally by telling her something she was clearly not old and emotionally mature enough to handle

This episode was so sad. ☹️ I felt so bad for Michelle. She ended up moving out of the state because it was too painful to be near her and not see her. 🥺 Olivia found out that she ended up having 16 embryos, not 4 like she was previously told. 10 were implanted into other women. Besides Patty, Michelle has 2 daughters and son. 💔 I can’t imagine how that must feel, not only losing her husband and baby girl, but to have little humans walking around with her and her husbands exact dna. Seeing them in others, little pieces of her and her husband, that she won’t ever be able to have a legal claim to without tearing apart families is devastating.😢 That doctor had no right; they said they didn’t want to donate any embryos. They never wanted other people having their children, they were theirs. (I know it’s just a show but I hope she eventually found peace🫶🏼)

The people that raise you and show you love, real love, is what makes a parent. Not DNA. People using DNA as an excuse to think that a kid belongs to them is what gets a lot of kids hurt.

I’m an adoptee, even if my birth mom appeared in front of me magically right now, I still wouldn’t go with her. The nice people that raised me, the ones who spent years of late nights staying up late, giving hugs, and scaring away spiders are my real parents.

Abigail Breslin was an exceptionally gifted performer at such a young age

I first saw Lea Thompson in Red Dawn. Her performance in this episode is an affirmation of how far she's come as an actress. Abigail Breslin's acting here is most heartfelt too. 💔

This is a more common scenario than folks realize. For example, know how many times the foster care system returned the wrong baby or child to a parent? Plenty. Mostly you never learn about these cases, but attorneys know them. Then there are the switched babies in hospitals...the man who switched his "defective" baby for another couple's healthy baby, with the assist of a relative on staff... then wanted to switch back later due to an inheritance issue.

Olivia was so nice to the girl. Olivia knows exactly what that little needs. The person was asking a lot of questions to Maddie. She is such an innocent little girl I can tell. I just feel bad for Maddie.

Even if the private investigators believed that was that woman’s daughter they should’ve gone through the proper legal channels there was no reason they should have went to that girl stalked her acted friendly to her only to steal her away from her real parents and then when she didn’t want to go pulled her by her hair by force if she did not want to go with them in fact if they believed what they were doing was the right thing why did she cry when she saw them.

Looks like the DA was going for the Solomon solution here..

Honestly, Michelle never really 'loved' the Patty. She just saw her as a prize to be won, a replacement for her dead daughter basically. Did she honestly think that if she had sued for custody and somehow won, Patty would immediately love her?

Detective Benson: Michelle, this has got to stop now. Okay, we know everything. Anna was on the police report from your husband's accident. She died in the car with him.

Michelle: No. They never found her remains.

Detective Benson: Michelle, they were hit by a gasoline tanker. There was nothing left. I'm sorry, but you know what I'm telling you is the truth.

Michelle: I know my daughter is alive!
