What makes it sadder is her baby was never there the baby had died already she just wasnt able to let go so acted as her baby was still there. When the monster crushed the stroller she could no longer pretend, but she was determined to protect those kids.

Her story was heroic and tragic in the manga and live action. She spent all her strength insuring she never hurt anyone and protected the kids. Even spent her wish to turn herself into a fetus, the most harmless thing she could fathom.

After this scene btw she turned into a hug fetus with a heartbeat and turned a room into a womb. They disnt know what to do with it even protected it cuase she was sincere. I belive they destroyed it in the end. Even tho that was her baby that she looked so hard for. I loved it.
