Demonstration video of Holbein MELTZ, the Holbein Arttists' Colored Pencil Blender, and how to create a drawing that looks like watercolor brush strokes. The watersoluble liquid is very compatible with watercolor painting and can be used on a watercolor painting to add accents and other effects. The blending process goes on very easily with a watercolor brush and instantly blends and smooths out the pencil marks. This video has two examples of using the Holbein MELTZ Colored Pencil Blender.

Acrylics are water based too but I'd never use them with my good watercolor brushes!

Ummm I would still be interested in seeing how it affects other colored pencils especially oil based ones, Polychromos, Pablos, lightfast and even wax based in a review.

The Holbein Meltz colored pencil blender works better with the Holbein Arttists' Color Pencils. I tried it with serveral other brands of colored pencils and got less blending results. It is a water based blending thinner and designed for use wih the Holbein Artist Color Pencils.

not really a new product, it's been around at least a couple of years.
