Nonexistence and Nothingness | What is it like to NOT exist?

What’s it like to Not Exist? What does it feel like to not exist? If you’re an atheist, you most likely believe that before you were born you didn’t exist at all and when you die you won’t exist either. If you believe in a creator god then you also believe that before god created you, your soul, you didn’t exist. Whether you’re an atheist or believe in a creator god, odds are that you believe that there was a moment when… you weren’t.

But what is it like to not exist? Is non-existence even possible? And if it isn’t… if non-existence is impossible that means that you have always existed… That you are actually eternal. The truth is that non-existence is logically impossible and by understanding why non-existence is a logical impossibility, you’ll realize that you must be eternal.

I've always felt eternal. The idea of not existing is terrifying to me.

Morgue, you are the first person to make me feel better about dying. I have never been okay with the thought of not existing and it has always caused me a lot of anxiety. Watching your videos is literally a breath of fresh air and almost feels like a new beginning for me. Thank you so much. You are appreciated 🙏🏻🥺

You said it all. I know that this video is 3 years old, but it came to rescue in a desperate moment of need. Thank you. I hope that you keep succeeding!

I'm an atheist and my answer to the question of how everything came into existence is simply "I don't know".

I love how you question everything, talking to normal people about all the things you talk about they look at you as if you are crazy, they live in a box and don't want to look beyond that box. you bring light to people who are lost...thanks.

I existed before I was born, I just didn't feel anything.

I had a friend in college who had a poster that said “reality is a crutch for those who cannot handle non-existence.”

"Imagine nonexistence. You can't" I've never thought of that before. This guy makes sense

I kid you not. When you said my existence is mandatory, I smiled. I think this is my favorite video of yours thus far.

I was told death will be just like before you were born. Not that got me thinking so hard. How can it be like before I was born but forever this time? What this time it’s forever? Why? Where was I before I was born? Waiting in line to be born in a random body? Imagining that death will be just like that but forever feels silly idk.

The mistake that many makes is assume that what follows post physical death must be the same as pre-birth but that argument is not usually accurate. The climax of something is not necessarily the same as its infancy. Also, they would say that eternal oblivion is fine since before birth, we somehow did not exist but what they do not realize is that once you have an experience, there is no going back, at least in terms of the urges to continue.

What if 0 actually represents our infinit God containing within himself all the dualities. All the infinit possiblities, the infinit permutations and combinations. Yet it is extremely difficult to grasp God fully.

If we try to define non-😅existing than it will become the existence even if it were the non-existence

It makes complete sense:
Existence=Zero= Nothingness
Nothingness has no opposites.
Therefore the conceptual opposite of Existence- which is Non-Existence - is not possible. Existence being Zero/ Nothingness has no opposite.

Try this:

Premise 1) I exist.

Premise 2) If I exist, I am contained within the "set of Everything that exists."

Q1) If we are within the set of Everything that exists, what caused the first thing to exist in the existing set?

A) Nothing in it's nonexistent state caused it, because to name anything else would be naming something that is contained within the set of "Everything that exists."

P3) Nothing both does and does not exist. 0^0=0 & 1. (The multiplicative/existing identity of 0 is uniquely 0 & 1).

C1) If Everything that exists originated from Nothing, I am likewise Nothing, because "nothing comes from nothing."

C2) If I am also Nothing, my existence is as indeterminate as 0's mathematical existence. 0i=0. Is the 0 a figment of our imaginations (nonexistent), or real (existent)? It is both.

C3) Therefore, I am currently nonexistent. Existence is therefore a paradox, because this conclusion contradicts P1. Your own, and my own existence, is 0^0. (The 1 just much more apparent than the 0).

What is life?
trying to explain the unexplainable
trying to reach the unreachable
trying to describe the indescribable
trying to exist in the face of nonexistence
reaching for the stars
and sinking in the sand
a finite dead star that still shows up in your eyes today

Nothing, by definition, does not exist. Since nothing cannot exist, what is left is existence. Existence is infinite. It has no ending or beginning and therefore no creator. ✌️

FACTS! We are eternal minds that can never perish. Your body or avatar can expire but your mind / soul can never be destroyed or cease to exist.
