Mark Twain said, "I'm not afraid of death. I was dead for billions of years before I was born, and it didn't inconvenience me in the slightest."

Funny how for fleeting moments I'll really get it, and I find there's nothing to do but laugh.

Peace to you all. For those struggling as I often have, may you keep seeking light in greats like Watts and Camus ❤

Why the music? Alan Watts does not need that kind of drama. Without it i find the message much stronger. Thats my feeling. Thank you for his voice and the beautifull film.

Amazing insight into the nature of reality. Such expression of simplicity is beyond extraordinary.

Yes the power of semantics is awesome. You can say black is white. And white is pink. etc etc etc. But reality has not changed one tiny bit. No matter how much you work or play with words. Bravo Alan Watts.

“You wouldn’t be able to see anything unless there was nothing behind your eyes” what a quote what a quote!

The last final sleep. I await the bliss of darkness. Quiet. Peace.
Fear is not real. Neither am I.

Beautiful. How I appreciate this man. Nothingness… is the substratum of everythingness. And yet to call it nothingness, implies that there is really a somethingness. So really… it is beyond both concepts and that’s where words and language fail because the moment you attempt to describe “it”… well, that’s not it.

I came from a course in miracles when I was just a teen, which went right over my head but for some reason it just kept calling. Then came all the channelled messages. Then Neville. Which held my interest for a while until it just didn’t. Seemed to be a whole lot more to this experience we all call “reality” than just getting what your mind desires out of life. Then came Alan Watts. Then Mooji. Then Ramana Maharishi. Then the teachings of Advaita Vedanta and somehow full circle to ACIM. It’s amazing how life leads you.
Thank you from my heart to the creator of the video 🙏🏽

In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?”The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”
“Nonsense, ” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”
The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”
The first replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”
The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”
The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover, if there is life, then why has no one ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery, there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”
“Well, I don’t know, ” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”
The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?”
The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her, this world would not and could not exist.”
Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”
To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”
Maybe this was one of the best explanations of the concept of GOD.

Nothingness is the reality.
This is the most incredible nothing because it contains the universe.
What else can you be?
Thanks Alan. 25 September 2023.🌹🤩🦅😂🐧⛳🤠🌱🌛

_You have come from death to here. Death is both the beginning and an ending, but it is only a stage of your great existence and your great service to life._ — MV Summers

Intriguing. From his perspective, nothingness is the whole of where all of existence soons gathers to and where it all comes from.
In a way he wants to come to grips with death and the great beyond that no one can explain or know about until they meet their inevitable demise.
A brilliant man with a mind that needs an excuse to escape the anxiety of what death will bring.
Bravo
