Convert MKV to MP4 using OBS Studio for editing in DaVinci Resolve

OBS Studio defaults to MKV output; however, DaVinci Resolve cannot edit MKV files! In this video, I show you how to quickly convert your MKV files to MP4 so you can get on with your video editing!

hope this helps someone out, so I would record something on obs and then remux it to mp4 then would try it in resolve and it wouldn't show up after literally 2 days of none stop trial and error... turns out you just need to click on the mp4 file and just name it something idk why but that's what worked for me. For example original file name - ".mp4" then id change it to "hello .mp4" literally don't know why but this worked for me. #annoying
