I’ve always wondered what happened to Tom Green’s wives! Especially Hannah! Glad she is finally free. My heart went out to her.

Having watched the British documentary about Tom Green, I hoped that Hannah was doing well. She seemed so innocent and I hated seeing how much control and dishonesty he forced on their lives. I couldn’t click fast enough when this popped up! Thank you for this interview.

Hearing this touches me deeply. I was raped and impregnated by my boyfriend when I was 14. My mother made me marry him. Like you I had an 8th grade education. He was sexually, verbally and emotionally abusive. I had three kids by 17. I had no family support. I became a Jehovah’s Witnesses at 17. They became my family after 15 years the religion became controlling. I was told everything to think, how to dress. I didn’t know how to think for myself. It took me ten years and three tries to finally get away from my husband and religion. When my last child left home I went to college. I went for 7 years straight and got a masters in counseling and became a therapist to help other trapped girls and women. I also wrote my memoir, Stacking Marbles a true life. I am very proud of us!

All of this discussion is focused on Hannah her feelings, but honestly I’m most proud of her for rescuing her children from this inter generational trauma! Well done, Mom!

From a child bride with an eighth grade education to a Nurse Practitioner... amazing! I saw a reel on Facebook that brought me here.

I remember the documentary. I couldn’t get over the extreme poverty and living conditions. Children everywhere.

Hannah, I am your mother’s cousin. I remember playing together as children. I’m so sad for what you have gone through and so inspired by you!

I watched the Tom Green documentary as well. That documentary had stuck with me for years because it was so unbelievable that that man was with such young girls. I can’t believe this is the same Hannah from that documentary. I’m so glad to see she is doing so well today!

“I didn’t even know my favorite color”. That got me.
And than somebody asked how old she was at one point, and she says “that was when he was in prison”, like her own age is just defined by his story.
It’s just amazing she found the strength to be who she’s become and do what she’s done.

I remember when I watched this when it came out and all I could think was… dear God I hope Hannah gets out, she has no idea, no clue, she couldn’t know how awful her life was and what was being taken from her because she was so innocent and sheltered and groomed and brainwashed. I could just cry seeing the woman she is now, she is strong and empowered now. She broke free.

I grew up in Lynndyl and worked at the store there with my mom in the late 90's. I remember Hannah and her family coming in several times when I was working. I remember her specifically because where some of the other girls and women were much more serious, she always had the brightest smile. Tom had tried to talk my (single) mom into moving out there and becoming one of his wives. thank goodness it was a hard no for her.

I have watched all the episodes and documentaries featuring Tom Greene and his family. Hannah always was the one wife that plucked at my heart. She seemed so young, yet the one who seemed to possess the most energy and passion for life. She was so full of energy and intelligence and I am so happy to see that she broke free and is living her best life. I remember watching her jogging around that desolate compound they called “Greenhaven”. I’m cheering for her continued success and recovery. She’s such a blessing and her light definitely shines bright!!!

I remember watching the documentary and wondering what happened to these women. She had her childhood ripped away. I'm so proud of her and her successes. She is amazing!

Oh my gosh HANNAH!
I saw the Tom Green documentaries earlier this year, and hoped so much for the safety and freedom of the girls and their children.

Sam & Melissa, it’s such a happy relief to find out through your channel that Hannah has a better life now. I was worried about her presently being stuck as another fundamentalist monster’s wife.
