The only problem I noticed with my S90D.Is that it doesn't up scale regular TV channels.

I was considering buying this 77" model but I've come across many negative reviews with televisions that simply stopped working after a short time, especially the 77" model due to problems with the power supply :(

This is a pretty great overview on the S90D. I heard it had some processing issues like you mentioned. I was wondering though since you use Movie Mode and had picture issues, if you switch to Filmmaker Mode, do those macro blocking issues go away or improve them in any way? Would be good to know.

Movie Mode by default uses Active Tone Mapping (DTM) which can cause clipping issues. Filmmaker turns that off and uses Static Tone Mapping so could improve image quality.

Also have you noticed on your A95L any issues with Dolby Vision content compared to HDR10/10+? I heard someone recommending to turn off DV until it's fixed. Has it been fixed yet?

Even the LG G5 has some issues with DV content. Seems not even the top tier TVs are free from major issues with processing lol. But Sony still seems the best overall! Thanks!😀

no longer a samsung fan. In 2022 I bought a qn85b, but in 2024 after 3500 hrs usage (as per samsung tech who can't determine the cause of burn-ins and shutting offs) I had the panel replaced, but just after 6 months, last March the problem started again. Still, not buying chinesebrand tvs.

This is such a bad TV🤦‍♂️ 83” LG G5 all the way. I have a ton of windows in my living room and whatever alien tech coating they sprayed on that panel cuts the vast majority of all reflections. I can see 0 reflection when color is on the screen. Most importantly contrast is 100%
