CONTEXT - I own 2 OLEDs the LG CX and the LG BX which I bought and paid for as I did the Samsung Q90T. I absolutely love the OLEDs but they are super reflective! And before everyone says this is a paid for video by Samsung it's not.

I've been trying to convince myself that an OLED would work in my very bright living room... Thanks for the reality check! Q90, it is.

Very well articulated. These are some factors that as consumers we don't think about at all but are actually super important in the decision making process. Thanks for the explanation.

I'm looking to buy a tv for a bright room with 2 windows and had been looking at the LG C1 and the samsung Q95a. This video has answered all the questions I had and addressed all the concerns i had about an OLED in a bright room. Thank you. Great video

I went for the Q90T for overall brightness and better reflection performance. Once again I watch sports in the daytime.

THANK YOU! Amidst all the paid adverts, sponsored TVs & QLED bashing.. I found this to be extremely useful for a tech idiot like me 😅 as the environment in whichever TV would be put in, is crucial mitigating factor. Grateful that you point this out & did the comparison. I agree not one is better than the other; similar to “one man’s poison is another’s treasure”. For a family with young kids (daytime watching cartoons) and if in luck, date nights watching movies — QLED works better for us. Writing in from Singapore, thank you once again! 🙏🏻

Definitely this guy review is the best about Oled vs Qled. I bought the 77" A80J oled not knowing my very bright living room makes it impossible to watch the TV image during daytime, with glare, reflection is all you can see. It gives me headache, so I went to Costco TV expert and he told me to return the Oled and buy 85" qn85a. Big difference, daytime watching tv is now possible, nightime too neo Qled is almost the same blackness picture quality. Oled is good only on no lights TV room, dark room style room.

Thnx for not adding to the discussion but pointing out that it is a choice between differences. I bought the 65QN92B (no one box needed, and that's the main difference I believe) Personally I can't stand reflection and prefer a more natural image which the QLED provides. Be happy with a OLED or a QLED and let others be happy with it too. I'm not batman and have a light room. Great video and lovely voice!

Best buying decisions for the past few years when I buy flat screens or smart TVs LOL. I always look at the light reflection from the store to see how bad it glares before buying it after picking out the 1 I want.

Brilliant, I have an extremely bright room and you are the only person yo truly show a light reflection test.... I'm off to buy Qled 😁

I think it also comes down to preference. Qleds and Oleds can both do things which the other can't. For viewing angles and black levels you can't beat an Oled. However in terms of brightness, vibrancy and colour you can't beat a Qled. I personally gravitate towards the bright and punchy displays. They also have a good reputation for longevity and Oleds can get burn in. However having said that they are both great technologies and I think most people would be happy with either of them.

I own a LG Oled E9 and have that issue. And nothing compares to the picture Quality. And the summer time an OLED doesn't throw off heat like QLED.

I actually had bought a C8 OLED two years ago, and returned it less than a week later because my room is too bright. Got a Q80R instead. Excellent video

I have a very bright room and my LG C1 OLED still looks absolutely amazing. Ive had every kind of TV made and the OLED has been king!

Really good video. My living room has 5 windows and 2 internal doors where ligh can come in. I watch sports more than I watch movies so picture quality value for money I can't justify an OLED.

I have an LG oled Bx. Honestly, it does have a lot of reflection. The screen is almost mirror like. Although I don't mind, the image quality is superb, and I usually game during nights so it doesn't bother me that much. I'll say is a good trade for the display quality.

Good food for thought. I've wanted an OLED for some time but our family room is fairly bright during the day. Thanks for giving me something to think about.
