Motocross Action tests the 2023 KTM 250SXF at Glen Helen Raceway. The 2023 KTM 250SXF has the all new chassis, body work, sub frame, swing arm, suspension settings, engine, map suite, seat, air box, and more that we saw on the 2022 KTM Factory Edition several months ago. Is this bike better than the previous platform? What is the break in time for a steel frame? What are some of the squawks we have with the bike? What are some positives? We give all that information and more in this video right here. We are gearing up to put it into a shootout where you will find even more detailed information including dyno numbers to compare it with the rest of the class.

As always, a great review that honestly covers all the pluses and minuses of the bike. Thanks Josh!

We are consistently seeing over 1 more hp at peak than last year on stock ecu on new bike vs aftermarket ecu on old and 2 over last year when both on optimized ecus. Its a considerably better engine

If the cage bearing on the shock linkage is sticking or binding KTM should replace it free to the customer. That's a manufacturing defect and shouldn't be the customers responsibility to replace.

The spoke discussion is interesting to me because ive ran ktm's, suzuki's and kawasaki's, and have a buddy on a honda who's similar pace, we all have the same spoke issues, most brands run the same wheels with very minor differences, i actually just built a new wheel for my suzuki and everytime i come off track the spoke behind the rim lock is loose, if you just check that one spoke each time you come off track you wont have the rest back out, and from my experience that goes for all brands

Great eval, sounds fair. Might be the best 250f this year. But I’ve had more stuff break on the Ktms than any other brand.

I love the KTMs. But man, they gotta quit making them so tall. The majority of riders are 5”6/7/8/9. The seat height it too tall. I’m 5’8 and I can BARELY tip toe both sides, and I have a smaller seat on my bike. They need to do what they did to their Husky

What is the price? Why is this a secret? This makes me not even want to work with this company. So frustrating
