The 2024 KTM 250SXF is here and our reigning 2023 MXA 250 Shootout winner. The KTM 250SXF was all-new for 2023, and the 2024 season only brings minor suspension updates, that are hardly noticeable on the track. This bike retails for $10,199 and it weighs 224 pounds. In this video, MXA test rider Josh Mosiman explains the pros and cons of the new bike and shares what we've learned on this bike so far, after spending over a year riding this new platform.

Bring the 150 2t into 250 4 races, and almost instantly you bring back excitement..

What was that tool used to attached the pump to the fork? Made screwing it in look so much easier. Works Connection?

Interestingly on your constant spoke issues- I have checked over all my KTM and Husky new wheels even before riding them. They are "loose" even before hitting the dirt. Not all of them, but some. I'm using the 6Nm OE torque spec. I suspect they are truing the wheel by dial indicators and not by spoke torque, which is a more accurate wheel. Spokes that are not up to the 6Nm torque seem to loosen faster.

Can anyone tell me if the new sxf250 should be with hour meter or they stop adding this to new bikes?

Hi Josh and thank you as usual for your videos!
I need your help: I want to buy a new sxf 250...the question is: do I have to buy a 2023 or a 2024 since the two bikes are different only in stickers....but not in price (I could save 1.000 dollars for the 23). Which one would you choose and why? thank you!!!

The frame “breaks in” after 10 hours?

I find it difficult to believe that a steel frame can become more flexible after 10 hours. Sounds like nonsense.

You should measure the flex new and after 10 hours and report what you find.
