Great video anyway; I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and it's defintiely the best WearOS experience I ever had compared to Fossils or Samsung's GW. I can't wait to see how software improves it and what they get in store for the 2nd one, hoping a 42 or 44mm size this time around!

EDIT : Also, while competitors tend to have way more features than the GW, they also had many years / predecessors to get where they are. So for a first gen, I'm confident to say that Google didn't do a bad job at all

Coming from smartwatches with several days of battery, to the Pixel Watch... I thought I'd hate it and it would be too much of a drag charging it daily. The first couple of days for me were "meh". Damn, it's only grown on me! It's a great little watch packed with very usable features. Also you can easily get a lot done without having to subscribe to Fitbit Premium.
My rating right now is 8/10. A sexy watch that is smaller than most, but still punches high.

Pro tip: If you buy Google's leather band you can take the leather band off of the proprietary connector and fit any old 20mm band. Granted you're now spending $80 to use any band you want.

On the subscription bit, you actually do get the vast majority of Fitbit's features for free. A lot of people think you're locked out of the app if you don't pay when that's not the case.
The premium subscription only gives you a bunch of workout guides, mindfulness/meditation guides, and some health scores fitbit gives you which are kinda arbitrary.
The only major health feature that's locked behind premium is long term statistics (so basically if you want to see how your Spo2 or average heart rate has evolved over the past few months, for example).
You always have access to all the current and most recent measurements and you'll always be able to track all your workouts. You can even sync them to a different app via health connect.
So the fitbit deal is not as big of a lock down as some people are making it out to be.
You absolutely do NOT need to pay for premium to get good health tracking from fitbit. Don't let that be the what deters you from buying this watch (the other critiques are valid though)

I have had mine for almost a week now, got it on sale. I love this watch, battery has been great after turning off AOD and raise arm gestures, then turned on tap/touch to wake, turning off a bunch of notifications also helped with the battery. I brought the bluetooth/wifi version, also love the small size since i have a smaller wrist. In the future if they do make a bigger version I hope the have 2 choices keeping this smaller version. I also swapped the band with the official stretch band and I prefer this one much more.

My brother had a look at the watch and asked if there was a bigger size and got disappointed when I told him no.. he said probably because the way the watch is shaped it would crack more easily if it was bigger, might have a point

Whoa whoa whoa! There are plenty of Android watches that work on iPhone. That was a Google decision to make it not work on iOS, not Apple.

Agree on everything else. I like WearOS and hope Pixel Watch 2 is bigger both in size and battery.

I bought a "used like new" Galaxy Watch 4 from eBay about a year ago for $140. Sub-200 feels right, $350 is just insane
