You don't need Fitbit premium. I've used a Versa 2 for two years and I never felt the need to buy it. Also the battery life isn't as bad as people are making it out to be. It can get the average user easily through the day.

Wtf are you talking about? It now comes in a 45 mm model and the battery life can last as much as 2 days or at 24 hours.

I have the Pixel Watch 2.

1. The battery doesn't suck; it lasts all day. I cannot imagine the Pixel Watch 3 being worse.
2. I do not have the Fitbit Premium package and can track my fitness. Premium only adds "readiness and mood" data.

Either your unit is massively defective

Update: The new Pixel 3 45mm lasts 3 days.

What do you people use your watch for? It isn't meant to replace your phone. I took my watch off the charger at 8am, did normal stuff for a few hours, then went snowboarding with my watch using LTE. I took 3 calls, responded to a few texts, and then went home and kept wearing it. I put it back on the charger at MIDNIGHT and it was still at 50%. The battery complaints are SO overblown for this watch.

If you turn off AOD I can easily get through 24 hrs with sleep tracking with 30%.

They have a bigger version though so why is that a reason?

1. Size: I understand that, even though competitors offer smaller sizes as well, Google is definitely lacking a bigger option.

2. Battery life: It's gotten better. Way better. I've had the watch for more than a week now and it has significantly improved in that time, just like the Pixel smartphones. Still not Galaxy Watch 4 levels though.

3. Fitbit: It's not that bad. Apple Fitness also offers a subscription based option, so deducting points from Fitbit just because it has a paid option is objectively wrong.
Fitbit non-premium still offers most of the functionality, just like Apple Fitness.
Both subscription services are optional and definitely not neccessary. Most people probably don't need a subscription to their fitness app.

But these are just my two cents and my own opinion.

This dude doesn't know what he's talking about. 45mm is more than enough and I keep AOD on and end up with around 40% battery at the end of the day.

I have a very small wrist and i love everything about the size, it's perfect it was about time! I am very active and i have no issues with the battery! There are many options on how to save 🔋 time! I have had my watch for 2 months and i ❤❤❤❤ it!

What does Apple even provide for free that the Fitbit Premium includes? Their sleep tracking isn't detailed, no recovery stats and Apple Fitness workouts are paid

I have the 45mm pixel watch 3
The bigger display is really good. The battery life is incredible. With AOD off i can get through a day and a half easily with sleep tracking and daily activities. Readiness score is coming to all Fitbit users, so you don't really need premium. I hope you have a video talking about the positive sides becos this seems very biased...

Pixel watch have a great battery, the only watch gonna be at it is apple watch ultra and basicly everything that Garmin pumped out around the same year, Soo pixel watch is a pretty decent watch for a lot of people

Got one for Christmas, the first Gen and it works well. I'm gonna buy some watch faces for it but it has had some updates so the battery and more is better

Battery dying on you now is highly debatable unless you've got AOD toggled and tilt to wake, both which one can do without. The watch is great, tracks just about all the metrics with a free fitbit acc. I genuinely can't complain especially with how polished the design is.

I've had my Pixel watch for three weeks. I've already unsubscribed from Fitbit premium. (6 free months with purchase). I installed Google Fit. It does all I need. Battery life seems really bad initially, but that's due to updating. Like any smartwatch, you'll be charging twice a day due to battery anxiety.
