Walking is great exercise, suitable for all age levels and also provides many health benefits, even from a lower number of steps per day. But you don’t get abs like that from simply walking.

I walk that everyday plus and do weights for over a year eating one meal a day my weight never changed

Ive been walking 20k a day for nearly 3 years. It has done nothing in terms of fat loss for me because its normal now. Props to those that it works for though.
