Why are you refraining from eating eggs …. They are not technically dairy products as they have no milk by products. It is just a function of retail classification that eggs are considered dairy - not their specific genus.

As a triathlete I've also had a food intolerance test done a couple of years ago and also cut a lot of foods that were part of my day to day diet. I've since discovered that if you are eating a lot of the same foods you will develop an intolerance to that food. Just by reducing/cutting back the intake of these foods will rectify the intolerance problem.
What I'm trying to say is just because you're intolerant to certain foods doesn't mean you'll always be intolerant.

Plant based diet is the only way to go. I went full plant based two years ago and I feel the best I have felt in 25 years. I’m 42 and in the best shape and health of my life. Wish I made this diet change when I was a NCAA tennis player. Going plant based is like unlocking a cheat code for life.

Brilliant video!
Could you please tell us where you got the intolerance tests done as this is something I think my wife would benefit from.
Please keep doing informative videos like this.
Keep up the good work 👍🏼👍🏼

I went through this a few years ago. I had really severe eczema ever since I was a child and nothing would shift it. Turns out I was allergic to loads of things!
It’s rubbish at first but you adapt pretty quickly! 💪💪💪

So glad you got a chef in! You can 100% manage without all the diary and eggs - so looking forward to you feeling better equipped and nourished in your performances! Nailing it!

Iam been Plant - Base over a year now and have been great, need to put some touches on race day nutrition but we are on the right track. Definitely iam going to steal the Energy bars for fueling my bike sections. You two are a awesome couple 💪💪. Keep posting 💙

Hi Lucy, have you thought about consulting a sports dietitian? Food intolerance tests are not very accurate... and may lead you to cut of foods unnecessarily. Sports dietitians are trained specifically to deal with GI issues like yours and use evidence based research in their approach.

Hi Lucy, how long do you eat before a tough run session and what would you typically have?

Do you flatten the carbonation of the red bull? I don’t think that’s helping with the bloating and GI issues you may have. Cracking video btw!!!! Thanks

Aren't food intolerance tests wildly unscientific ?

I relate so much to what you’ve gone through with stomach problems, tiredness and bloating…
And trying to figure out was wrong cutting out all different things and watching people eat something as simple as carrots or eggs and being so sad I couldn’t have them.
But then I finally found out that actually I had celiac deseise. Which made such a difference with my training and competitions as well, in rock climbing.
You’re such an inspiration🫶
And I admire you so much

Very interesting, I don't understand why this channel has few subscribers, she is a champion and the topics that are talked about are very interesting.

Loved this video! I think Lucy is just going to start literally flying one of these days, such a superhero.

Also, did you make those banana, cacao, coconut, etc. energy bars yourselves? They look very yummy. Is the recipe available to the public somewhere?

please do that video showing both of your race nutrition plans, i've struggled to find one that works. especially in how much water/electrolytes to take in. would be cool to see what you do

I suggest seeing an allergist. Sensitivity tests typically show foods you recently ate and aren’t accurate.
