How to Perform an Offline System Update for Xbox

I had upgraded mine yesterday to a 1TB SSD. It's definitely a worthwhile investment, basically it's like getting a new faster console. The only hiccup that I had was that at first I could not get the "offline update" choice to be an option. It was like it was grayed out, not choose able. After several attempts, using different ports etc, I went to a different flash drive, with the second one being a USB 3.0 vs the 2.0 I had been trying. And that's all it took. It seems like the downloads and installs are faster too.

One last thought, on the console it shows out of a 1TB drive, there's 780 gigs available. I've looked around and that seems to be normal, the explanation is that it's got a compatibility partition and then the system partitions. I might try going up to 2TB or maybe I'll just get an external SSD.

After i press offline update it goes to 3 percent and gets another error code pease help me

You did a clean install on the console right? Thats why there is no accounts on. I just dont want to lose my accounts cos some I dont remember the login details since I haven't used the console in more than a year

Mine did not work after the update im getting a different error code still and it is stuck on step 2 of 3

So am i going to need a brand new empty drive? Or can i use one with stuff on it.
Will doing this mess up any separate stuff on my drive?

Does anyone know why when I enter the support page to download the file, the page does not load, it only remains in the xbox logo and nothing happens from there
