Quick question, how can I filter out forever (or even better remove) all the factory presets and sounds in the media bay please? I'm not interested to use them, and for now they pollute my workflow because when I search for something I saved previously, it's lost in this ocean of data. The best way I found is to rate 5 stars my stuff and use the rating filter to highlight it, but that's far away from ideal. I don't understand why it's so tricky to work easily with your own data in a pro software like Cubase. I hope I missed something important. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

This guy is better than Dom. I like how smooth he explained everything without showing his face.

Very good video. I've been going through a lot of them and you're video is the most concise. But there is still one question unanswered.
What I'm doing is searching for percussion midi loops. So I narrow down my search to just have loops to audition; so far, so good. When I find a possible loop for my song, I drag it onto a midi track; I may have a half dozen or more. Here's where it stalls.
When auditioning the loops, Cubase (Pro 10.5) auditions the track using whatever instrument patch it's using. When I go to play back the midi loops that I've dragged in, they don't have the same note assignment as Cubase's auditioning instrument and I have six or seven different midi loops, all playing totally different sounds; I'm using Halion GM drums and percussion. So how do I find the instrument that Cubase used to audition the loop so I can hear the same thing that I was auditioning...or another solution short of trying to recall which sound belongs to which loop and reassigning the notes. That would be very slow. I'd prefer to be able to play back the loops in my project and hear what I had auditioned. So is there a place where Cubase tells you what instrument patch it is using?
Thanks for these videos.

Is it possible to save your own presets to mediabay that would use that functionality? For example if I saved a midi file for a synth bass part could I allocate a specific instrument / patch for it so it can be recalled from mediabay in the same way & would auto transpose to the project root key?

Can it be done with 3rd party instruments too or just native ones?

@Cubase MediaBay is great but even your presenter is annoyed at @06:15 by the fact that the sample keeps previewing. The fix: Once you import a sample, please stop preview unless you refocus the MediaBay window. Tx!

I wish my media bay moved that fast. Very informative presentation as usual.

Is it possible to search for loops using time signature? I am trying to get 3/4 loops in cubase 10.

Basically like the old times in Acid (1998).
Is this working in my Cubase 8.5 version?

In C13 loops and samples content is empty. When I open C12, I can see all packs.

Are all the pretty picture icons that show up in the media bay, for samples as an example, Steinberg only content? Some sample libraries I buy from others have cover images as well. Does Media Bay make use of those?

Is it possible to create custom folders for massive amounts of content in the Media Bay?
