The first video that actually helped me, these tutorials are all so confusing. Thank you!

The Tech Support Team, Chris Dobbs actually, helped me get my Pro 8 program running correctly. He was fantastic. Now I can do everything that you did on this video. Very happy Cubase Pro 8 owner now. This video speaks to the creative side of production and is fun and enlightening. Please do more of these types of videos using the pitch correct, harmony voices and how to get great overdrive tones from the virtual amp.
I am using an Akai MPK225 and tips on using MIDI interface units to compliment Cubase Pro 8's capacity would be welcome as well.
Thanks you.

bubble bath bop by AAN from Oregon has a beautiful ending which your tune reminded me of. song is on YouTube if you want to hear it. have both cubase and fl studio but need to learn how to use for background music for amateur videos. can you recommend any vst/au for indie sounds?

Andy I love your videos keep them coming, inspirational.  one question, I'm using a midi keyboard instead of the pads, when I try to do the bass live transform thing, the results don't seem to be as elegant as it appears when you do it.  is there a way to set up a keyboard to act like pads in Cubase?

Hi there, great music, great atmosphere created with the blended sounds, just one question, how did you do it? Your tutorial is well filmed but way too fast for a dumb dumb like me. I have tried and tried and tried to copy your example but to no avail. I cannot get the cycle record to work, it just records over and over on the same track and creates a jumbled mess. What am I doing wrong? Thankyou for your help. Cheers from Down Under

Don't wanna draw comparisons here, but Logic Pro X has this very essential feature called "Take Folders". It would be very helpful if someone enlightens me if Cubase has a feature like that.
Thanks.

I wonder, why yamaha don`t build some Midi Controllers for Cubase ?

My mixing board is connected to my Steinberg UR 242 recording device which is then connected to the computer through USB. My speakers are coming out of my motherboard sound card. However on output devices it only shows the Steinberg device and not the Motherboard sound-card. Is there anyway to get my motherboard sound-card used as the output device because I can't hear anything and the speakers don't have the same type of connection that is on the Steinberg device.

What am I missing when I use midi loops and am not getting sound to preview those selected loops?

Hey guys what Midi-Controller did you use in this video?

I apologize but I can't figure out if my control room is on or off. I pull up the schematic and there isn't any real on or off visible. And I as well cannot find where it will tell me if my Media Bay is playing Audio files. Besides that trying to audition the Midi Loops if I double click it shows up as recorded track as if I dragged and dropped. Nothing even close to what you are showing in your video. Any other suggestions? Where will I find information to make sure Pro 8 is hooked up correctly so it performs like the You Tube video tutorials? Thank you for you time.

Gaffa tape on the controller? That stuff can leave a nasty mess if left there too long!

too many replies of same thing,   not done on purpose.  sorry about that.  need to delete these somehow.

Why would a real producer want to use loops that isn't their creation? (Inb4, you don't have to use them) I just hate the widespread appeal to loops, you're literally not making the music yourself.

All these videos are too fast! and the titling scheme contains no info about what info is in what video! if you want to go back to something specific after watching them all you better take notes! sometimes having too many options takes away from the goal, recording music isn't rocket science and doesn't need umpteen different processes and ways of going about it. I thought cubase was all it needed to be and more back at cubase 4, maybe even SX. How many more features can you cram into a program to keep milking money from its users who really just need updates to keep current with new technologies.
