It took less than half an hour for a police K-9 to find a missing woman in Georgia.

I used to have a Beagle/Bassett mix. Living next to a massive public park area, I would have my boys hold the dog inside while I ran all over the park, eventually hiding in a spot totally out of sight. When the boys released our dog, she would zigzag all over the park, following the same route I took until finally tracking me to my hiding spot. Some of these breeds can have amazing sensitivity!

Where we live there was a K9 unit named Nellie, a sweet and gentle Bloodhound. That dog was famous in our area and was always in parades and at all the Fairs and festivals. After 9 years she retired and sadly passed away this year. RIP Nellie, you were a good dog!

I am so happy she was found!! So many of our elderly disappear! My father-in-law disappeared one night and it’s the most devastating feeling!!
We don’t have K-9 units here and we live in the woods.
Thank goodness for this dog’s talent!
