K-9 Pandora and Officers Help Find Missing 73-year-old Woman in Georgia

Johns Creek, Georgia — On June 22, 2024, around 5:30 a.m., in the morning, 73-year-old Lina Moats left her daughter’s home in the Polo Club area. Authorities said, Moats wasn’t familiar with the area and has diminished mental health. Forsyth County asked Johns Creek Police for assistance in finding Moats. Johns Creek Sgt. Lemke and K9 Pandora answered the call of duty and hit the ground running. Bodycam footage shows, Pandora the K-9 Officer quickly grabs a scent. About 22 minutes of tracking through the woods later, the dog led officers right to the missing woman. Pandora got a few pats from the woman whose scent she had picked up on. Thanks to Pandora's work, police were able to get the woman back home safe and sound.
