This is a short review of the new 2024 iPad Pros. I recommend to NOT BUY the new iPad Pros as the iPad Pro is so expensive. When you compare the iPad Pro to the M3 MacBook Air, the M3 MacBook Air is a better value.

Yeah but a MacBook isn’t a iPad. I’m not using a MacBook in my bed, on a couch or whipping it out at a restaurant for the kids. If you want a laptop get a laptop.

Battery life is the biggest problem with the iPad. They should incorporate a battery into the Magic Keyboard not only to extend battery life when docked but also to make it not so top heavy when using the keyboard. Making it Easter to use on your lap.

Weird, your premise is it’s too expensive. Then you tell people to buy an equally expensive product that doesn’t do the same things the iPad does. No pencil pro, no detachable keyboard, no touch display, but hey! At least you’re spending the same amount of money! 🤦🏻‍♂️

These devices should not be compared on the specs level. If you need to use a pencil it doesn’t matter what processor the MacBook has.

Got a ipad 11inch 512gb for art… and only just learned that the you need the 1tb model for 16gb of ram which is useful in procreate as it doubles the total layers…

Honestly the iPad Pro is a much better deal if you’re not looking to do dev work like coding. Much more versatile and you’ll probably have a lot more fun with the iPad Pro in the long run. The MB is a laptop and only a laptop. The iPad can be a laptop if you want to save up a little more and get the magic keyboard

I already have a MacBook Pro, so I bought the 11” to use as a nice iPad. The problem is when people buy it instead of a laptop thinking it’s going to do all that a laptop does

Mac books aren’t touch screen and you can’t detach the screen or draw on it or flip it around to showcase in a presentation as easily. They’re just not as versatile or as portable and for what I need it’s perfect for me with plenty of power if needed.

I have an 11” ready to pick-up tomorrow with a pencil and keyboard, my thing is mostly that while a macbook is fairly morr capable, i wouldnt be able to use it for one of my main goals: doing digital art while away from home. The ipad being the device that already uses the stylus is really helpful for me, because i can’t take my 22 inch tablet around (obviously), so while the macbook may seem better at a surface level, the ipad is more worth it for someone like me, an artist.
