My Granpapy was a wood worker & was so disappointed in me when I showed him this & was amazed at the ingenuity of screwing in one side, placing the level on it, then adjusting the wood. he said "I taught you better, you should know that"

Gonna use this method but switch out the wooden dowels for metal ones so they can bear a heavier load. Thanks for the awesome tutorial!

Appreciate the video. Very helpful, but is there really a need for a jig to cut the dowels? Seems like over complicating cutting four inch dowels, unless I'm missing something.
