Welcome back! Your videos are very instructive and unique. I learned a lot from even seven years old videos of yours. There are lots of Part design and Sketcher tutorials, please make more tutorials about BIM, Draft and Techdraw

fantastic tutorial. it is very easy to follow and it makes me feel confident to get this to a level I can actually use FreeCad! Thank you very much!

Great video thanks! Do you know of any easy way to generate contours?

Thank you for the video. I am not able to snap to vertices and edges of the excavated area. Am I missing anything here?

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I had just started to try and model my house block in FreeCAD and was getting nowhere. Now I know how to generate terrain! Could I ask a favour, would you help with a problem I have with part of it? I have an image much like yours (no elevation data yet) but it shows lines for the boundaries and for the house footprint. Rather than the rectangles you made for the subtraction/addition, I need to use polylines to follow the outline of the house footprint so I can use it to model. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to fully constrain this polyline in the sketch (I was using part design workbench for this) Is there a way to do it in BIM? I guess what I'm asking is could you show how to make a building footprint on the terrain from the footprint points in an image please? Thanks so much
