Swedish Submachine Gun (SMG) | Carl Gustaf M/45 | How It Works

The Kulsprutepistol m/45 (Kpist m/45), also known as the Carl Gustaf M/45 and the Swedish K SMG, is a 9×19mm Swedish submachine gun (SMG) designed by Gunnar Johansson, adopted in 1945 (hence the m/45 designation), and manufactured at the Carl Gustafs Stads Gevärsfaktori in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The m/45 was the standard submachine gun of the Swedish Army from 1945 to 1965. It was gradually replaced in Swedish service by updated Ak 4 battle rifles and Ak 5 assault rifles. The last official user of the m/45, the Swedish Home Guard (Hemvärnet), retired it from service in April 2007.

The model is not exactly a Carl Gustav M/45 but it does show some resemblance. It somehow has the retracting wire stock of the Akaba but the Akaba does not have a barrel shroud and it has a shorter barrel with the front sight on the receiver.

The Best thing about the gun is you can bump the RoF by inserting a big battery in the back, as the swedes found out & demonstrated by the talking balaclava

That is actually s Stemple 76/45. It's very similar (and shares some design lineage) to the Swedish M45, but is a totally different gun.

the firerate of this gun is kinda like the mp40 as i know but you could just beef up the spring and make less room behind the mag and you could have had a faster firerate and a shorter gun! am i just stupid and cant see some massive problem?

The stock is wrong, shouls be 100% verical pistol grip and side ffolding stock. The rear sight doesn't appear in the right place and little extra latch is missing
