There is a reason you don't see those on actual pieces of equipment. The bars are exposed to shear stresses, and their ability to transfer torque 90 degrees is dramatically reduced. Use a 90-degree gearbox if you want to run a load.

friction is not the problem, it could be solve by f.ex linear bearing. Other thing is that it won’t handle any load and it is probably bigger problem

The elbows are subjected to bending moments and shear forces. An hydraulic coupling will be a better idea

Хотелось бы услышать звук работы данного изобретения, а еще поговорить с человеком, о центровке валов) допусках, заодно попросить включить этот движок на оборотов так 1500, но перед этим отойти конечно, после этого в больнице уже расспросить у него почему он соединение двигателя как на компьютерной модели не повторил)))

It's like a coupling concept, Gears transmit the power and give variable rpm....but these kind of only transmits the same rpm, cannot able to vary the rpm.
That's the speciality of gear transmission
