I'm an RAF veteran with 30 years service whose time was up 5 years ago. It never occurred to me the race or gender of those I was working alongside as we'd all proved ourselves capable on a level playing field. I am glad to be out of the orgaisation I was once proud to be a member of.

Here's an idea, why doesn't every job vacancy or recruitment drive ask for people that are interested in doing that particular job, or taking on that the interested people, and then, then offer the position or positions, to the most suitable candidates on merit ? I know its a bit radical, but like I said, Just an idea ....
