In this lab environment, do you actually need the 8 GB? I have a bunch of the 3B's around. Just looking to repurpose what I have already.

Can I adapt it to 1x PI4 8Gb and 2x PI3b 1Gb ?

I would suggest that you swap the SD cards out for USB drives, seeing as you get better performance out of them and I think you might just need to update the firmware on the RPi to do it. (They also may ship with the firmware already flashed)

Hi, I very much want to acquire an exactly same setup as yours !
But local price is steep here for all 6 Pi devices! Could you give me bit more advice if I can build from an initial 4G x 2units + 8G x 2units? How to assign those servers and workers among them?

How many nodes should I get? I've never done before. I was going to do 8. Is that too many?
