I felt certainly bad when most teachers in India solely focus on examination preparations.
Particularly in maths, they just taught formulae and never they try to bring out the curiosity that is embedded deeper within us.

Does the x² term have to have coefficient 1 for completing the square? Or can it be any number?

At the very end, I'm pretty sure its supposed to be 5/64 instead of 5/8

Might be a pretty no-brainer for someone but I wanted to know, shouldnt he have added (-1/8)^2 instead of (1/8)^2 onto both sides? I know it doesn't matter because when you square it ends up being positive, I just want to know if I'm right or not.
