I worked for Paul printing boards back in 2001 at Indian Ink. One of the funnest jobs I ever had.

God man..that last supper board from the 90's is amazing.. I remember looking through a CCS my neighbor gave me in the early, early 90's and seeing all the cool boards like that.

What’s the best way to store a complete skateboard at home when not skateboarding? Vertical against the wall? Horizontal with the wheels on the floor?

Damn I just realized 9 club hangs board with shoe laces lol

Shit I used 2 keep mine at the house on the side. Like primo storage. But I got a big family. I wasn't trying to injure none of my fam. Or upside-down .. again great interview 9club. Shot out Jeron. Big inspiration for me growing up. That valley steez. I saw soooo many dudes with hard ass styles. But life goes on. And only a chosen few keep that love for skateboarding.

Great question. Great guest. He should be on every week. More guests about making skateboards

i agree face down but like roger said different concaves would for sure make a difference. Put a flat 2x4 on a warped one its probably gonna warp too

I used to run a shop and hung vertical from the truck holes w/ a ziptie and a hook. The boards that sat around the longest (esp. the cheaper brands) would get a slight twist warp running down the length of it. Def would mark them down or give em out at contests lol

If you have 5 or so decks with different concave, do not stack them flat like he suggests. The weight of the top boards will warp the bottom one or ones.

Scientific facts he wants? Okay, as any carpenter knows, when your staining kiln dried lumber and stacking them on top of each other, if you don't put the spacer cleats exactly on top of each other, those bottom boards will be fucked up.

Now, if it's all the same shape board, then I agree, let those kittens cuddle.

awesome !! my question is: how does the width of the truck compared to the board or even the trucks overall geometry affect pinch? science of the pinch?

Seems ive been doing it right. Lol I thought youd had to have a humidor or something, this is a relief

Need temperature/climate control and humidity controled room with filtered air, Make sure to use distilled water only for humidifier, Place room out of sunlight, put your board in black bag into a custom design box to reduce stress and distribute weight evenly. The best way to store board. Hire a full time person to gaurd board and monitor room.

To fix a door, don't grind the edge down, tighten up the top hinge, make sure there is one long screw, about 3-3.5 inch and pull the hinge tight. All doors, gates sag after a while and the top hinge is usually the problem. If you have to lift up to latch it or the gap on the top is tight, it's the screws in the top hinge. Or sagging post gate is attached to, when you set a gate post, pitch it over the direction that will counter gravity and the weight of the gate, if the gate is on the right, pitch the post a quarter inch or so left. It will settle.. Never sand or cut. Use a couple long screws if you have to. Next if that doesn't work, take a block of wood to the door frame and hit it with a hammer and knock it over a little. You may break free paint and caulk that needs to be doctored up. Anyways, I felt like I should put that out there for anyone who was considering a repair. If it's only the coldest days I might not mess with it. The Professor is more making an analogy to understand. Love the show guys and it's interesting to hear the Professor break down the science from an engineering and scientific mind. I wrote this for the D.I.Y.ers .. Much love guys!

Question, do flatter old school single kick decks .Have less chance of getting warped over time .? Mainly taking about the reissue mid 80s ones

The science of skateboards is still in it’s infancy or this is it for now. I’m starting to believe they’ll be more scientists of skateboarding in the coming future.🛹🧪🧫🧬

Is it better to put deck on wall hanger just on top of truck holes and lower part to be free or nose and tail holes be on hangers...to be more 'rigid' ?

What if you use only 1 board with wheels, where do you store it? I keep it with the shoe rack near the front door and it's in the way.
