The best way I found to store is to put each purse in its own pillow case that is folded down around the purse. Then I place in a cardboard box next to each other with the top loosely on. I write Summer Bags or Black Bags, of which I have many. I stuff with acid free paper, gently, and put away. I love my purses and even have a couple from the 1980s! Of course I don't use them but I keep anyway.

I don’t agree with this, leaving bags in dust bags and boxes can encourage moisture to collect and cause damp. Also stuffing with paper if gets mouldy can cause a musty smell to the bag. I prefer to keep bags in a room that has great air circulation with no access to direct light sources. While keeping dust bags can discourage dust, I recommend ensuring that you take them out to breathe regularly and to check not damp or smells are being contained within the bag.
