This is NOT turning off end-to-end encryption, just the secure storage which is actually a good thing to have if you have the encryption on - which you cannot turn off. Not with this method anyway for sure.

Not at all dude, it does not disable encryption, just the "secure" storage. Messenger will still be encrypted and bugged as hell between each platform, message will dissapear, not being available, the solution is to make all of us a report to facebook asking for repairing or disabling that bugged encryption...
