If you turn that off it won't save your messages. My laptop stopped showing me my past chat messages. shows I have 2 new messages next to the message icon. When I click on the chat icon only a box comes up to type in a name to search for a message. I have tons of messages and some of the people aren't fb friends. The icon choices in chat -on says put in a pin ? I don't know what that would be or have a code send to my cell- I have tried this choice and a code never sends. Can you make a video how to fix it? PLEASE <3

Majority of the time I can't see group messages on Facebook now it's all just stuck waiting to load and it's since this has popped up in group chats lol. Any idea how to fix this? Most the messages take a day + to load while some go straight through. Only just started.

I am using the latest IOS with an I-phone 8, and do NOT have an option, under Privacy, to select "End-to-End Chats" selection.

omgosh, ty.. hope it works, drove me up the wall! Edit.. turned it off but now it wont send msgs at all.. huge loading loop ... i hate fb!

Mine doesn't have that option, when I hit message storage it only shows turn on secure storage and low mode on. Can anyone help, I'm tired of my messages disappearing
