This video needs to be removed or updated - if you are encrypted, there is no way to remove it. Everything I have seen about removing the encryption actually deletes all the encrypted messages! Not what we want!

It does not have non of the option you mentioned. My msgs are auto encrypted with certain ppl why? It does not show that the message has been delivered only shows sent. So annoying. Any advice?

End to end encryption has just deleted a 10+ year conversion. Really sad about that. Seems there's nothing I can do about it. No way to restore either 😭

Not all phones have the ability to click the top right corner where the pencil is and find a lock to slide it to disable it after you click it. What kind of phone do you have?

Can't even get into messenger to try any of these steps. New pop up window asking to create a pin, buse Google, or access only on this device. Do not want any of these! You have a help vid to cancel these out & use messenger like normal? TY!

Only 2 days ago this problem occured with my messenger, but only on my pc not my mobile. Certain people in my chats has become encrypted, not through me doing anything and no option of video chat or call is showing on the screen. All suggestions ive read so far arent working, mostly because the option told isnt driving me nuts. I didnt ask for encrypted!!

All this end to end encryption does is break pretty much all chats and makes it where I never get notified for messages and media doesn't load. Plus it has a built in backdoor anyway so what's the point?
