None of this work. And I don't have a secret conversation line. Really tired of these rabbit holes, that are full of it. I didn't choose this end to end. And I can't get rid of it. And I can't reset a pin, for storage, because nowhere do I have any reset options, where other videos show. I never created a pin, but it wants me to put one on. This is BS.

PROBLEM: Not wanting to lose my chat history is WHY I'M HERE! It's why I'm trying to turn off this end-to-end crap, it's blocking my messages! Deleting is not a viable option, 99.9% of these messages were exchanged before this encryption garbage, I shouldn't have to delete them to remove it!

I hate this "so only you two can see it" nonsense, THAT WAS ALREADY TRUE! Short of hacking nobody else could read these chats already!

This does Not work ....I hate it.... F.B .needs to remove the encryption ....It should be our decision to delete messages or save messages are personal hold memories sometimes it's the only way of keeping in touch. Come on F.B.get rid of it

I had to use the second option on my iPhone (1:17) deleting my previous chat messages and starting again. It worked!!

I deleted the chat and started a new one with the chat i deleted in hope to get rid of the end to end encryption and when i did it still showed the end to end encryption before sending the first message and i didn't defaultly set it up for it

The only way to get away end to end encryption is to go to privacy and then go to security off..you need to tap the security on so all your messages are back..just i do to open all my messages
