Great video Patrick. I backed the hand wound version with the silver dial on Kickstarter, and it really is a beautiful watch. I didn't like the crown though, just as you pointed out in its difficulty of use. Since it was a manual wind only you can see the dilemma so I sold it and ended up getting back what I put into it. Ivan really is a great guy and he offers a lot of other watch related items on his web-site and I highly recommend Vario. Thank again, Brian.

I have the hand wound tuxedo version. I like how the manual wind version is slightly thinner. I think the automatic is just a little too thick. Great looking watch.

I get a little lost when you mix imperial with metric in the same sentence though 😃 As for the lume, I have seen worse: I have a Festina with luminous hour markers, but the hands have no lume! Crazy design.

A little while back when you did the Beaufort video, I was deciding between it and the Vario Empire handwind. A lot of companies forget about the crown. I feel that it completes the look of the watch and crown on the Beaufort looks generic. The crown on the Vario looks as if it belongs on the watch. The handwind Miyota looks amazing also.

Asian brand with straps for the Asian wrist. Cool watch. I like it!!! BTW as you know( maybe not other viewers) Vario makes VERY COOL straps.
