Holy shit they found the sample. Props to De De Mouse for making such a complicated series loop out of such a hard to find sample. To think it was from 4 different parts of a hymn, sliced, pieced together from different places, +1 Semitones, change in pitch and tone, and still made so much coherent sense that we all assumed it was just one song or hymn. Freaking insane.
Even more insane to find the actual samples!

The way this sample was chopped up reminds me of Clams Casino’s style. This is amazing

The way that vocal said ✨NARAYANA✨
The perfect mix of kannada and sanskrit chants are just ultimately Amazing 😍

Holy shit, I remember trying to find this sample years ago and couldn't find it. Seeing how it was put together from an old sample CD and was then sampled again is really cool. God I love those old 90's sample CDs.

it’s crazy how some guy from Reddit accidentally solved almost a decade long mystery

Now I know why this song is so peaceful, it's literally repeatedly chanting Narayana on loop!

The word "narayan" ...i knew it.. could always sense the hindu root, something ancient .... this is a hindu chanting of shri Narayana.... there's something so mystical about this whole music and how it has been put up.

People have no idea how talented Gud is. The fact that this song, Agony and the Kacy Hill - Foreign Fields Remix were produced by the same person is mindboggling!

This is crazy. Not too long ago I actually tried to find the sample, hearing the original loop I knew it was chopped and tried to re arrange it without success. Really nice to see something like this be concluded after almost a decade
