Game preservation so far thrives on semi-legal things like emulatuon, and the history of gaming relies on trying to open closed doors and writing history on blogs ten years after the fact.

This needs to change, video games are art and deserves better.

Such an important job. It feels like with the consumerism around videogames, so many of the nuances of all the inspirations, social environment, business around game development get lost and forgotten. We need more capable, passionate people like Ms. Nooney.

Micro-computer games (i.e. stuff like TRS80 and Commodore 64 and Acorn Electron) are far more at risk to being lost forever, in comparison to console games (like NES and Atari VCS ). So many great games on diskette and casette tape need preservation.
