I love how the whole point of the scene was that it was just a simple burger but Andrew just Couldn’t hold back making something fancy

Your perseverance to finish the crinkle cut fries with the wonky knife deserves applause. 👏🏼

2:08 To be fair though, when Margot asked Slowik what his kitchen has, Slowik responded "Everything", so TECHNICALLY he most likely would have some ground beef, American cheese and burger buns lying around somewhere.

Something tells me he didn’t want to recreate “The Mess” or “The S’mores.”

You gotta make Tyler’s meal. His technique was flawless.

I love that the mixer just slowly migrates across the counter as it's beating the patato dough

Every time I open up an American cheese slice, I hear Ralph Fiennes in the back of my mind "American cheese is the best cheese for a cheeseburger because it melts without splitting". Brilliant.

I loved the burger scene in the menu the subtle progression of the emotions on his face he says he lost his love for cooking and have that love return not from an awe inspiring rendition of a dish but by a simple burger that returns his love for cooking by reminding him of why he set out on his path
Ralph Fienes really made such a small scene with no words powerful with emotion alone

i like to think the crinkle cutter is actually incredibly sturdy but were no match for babish’s inhuman strength

This is exactly the type of video I have been missing from babish. I’ve felt like there hasn’t been much “binging” in most of the recent ones! So nice to see a longer video where you can tell he took time to get everything perfect!

I attempted to make this burger immediately after I returned from the theater. It was one of the best burgers I ever had. The caramelized onions were the best part of it.

"And the worst part is: I'm still f***ing Hungry" was legendary

I absolutely LOVE that this got back to the more traditional BWB formula: “we made it the cheap and easy way to match the show/movie, now how can we make it better?”

Much more like old school BWB episodes that I loved years ago! Great video!

Seeing Andrew trying to unhinge his jaw to eat everything is just too perfect.

I saw this movie at an Alamo Drafthouse, twice. It's a place that serves real food and drink (not concessions) seat side whenever you want.

On second viewing, I got there early, ordered a drink and asked my server to bring me a burger toward at the end of the movie.

She brought it at the EXACT moment "just a well made cheeseburger" popped up on screen.

I just wanna say that I love how you try the easier way then make it all again fixing your mistakes and tweaking the recipe until its perfect

Hawthorn prices include gratuity, as stated in the scene before Dessert, so that store-bought ingredients burger is priced almost exactly correct. Also the point was that it doesn't take fancy ingredients to make great food. Great food is made with care and love.

As someone who helped film The Menu… this is the coolest thing I could have imagined!

To describe your version of Chef Slowik’s Cheeseburger, As Margot would say “My Eyes were a little bigger than my stomach.”

Nicely done.
