My first car, and the first car I drove, was a 1999 beetle. 1.8 manual. I only briefly had it. We sold it by the time I got licensed and then I got my first Buick. It's probably my second favorite car I've driven behind the Buicks.

I like this blackout VW to me more masculine. I wish VW would have made a Baja Bug or the Mullholand style VW. I wish VW gave this car the iconic sound. I like that so new no one could tell with a magnifying glass lol. You are in rare form again even with the weed eaters. Most entertaining car reviews ever. Did they ever make a stick shift VW Bug? Bringing in reinforcements LOL. Spoiler reminds me of when people would put 911 whale tails on back of VWs. At one time-they called the VW Beetle a Poor Man’s Porsche(VW owns Porsche)and it also reminded people of a VW Golf
