Very immature! My husband use to always drive my 2006 beetle convertible and wasn't ashamed to drive it. He now has a 2013 bug and loves it! A car is a car!

I just bought a 2013 convertible and it has steering wheel controls and navigation, etc. Really a nice car and fun to drive. It’s a keeper as they don’t make them anymore. As we have had ‘60’s and 70’s bugs, thing, Karman Ghia, bud and 412 this is a better bug. But it’s my wife’s car.

You guys lucked out on the weather. good review and i agree on the score the car is missing many things that are standard on many cars like the steering wheel buttons or optional back up camera. Do u guys think the Chrysler 200 convertible has more room than the Beetle?

I like it, nice combo retro & contemporary. I had used beetles, including a '59, 61' & a new '98. Never had any trouble with any of them. I like this styling better than the original New Beetles. I've never judged a guy's manliness by the car he drives. The two reviewers seem obsessed by such a point-of-view. Makes it easy for Marketing folks.

Hey everyone, a car, is a car, is a car, is a car. The VW convertible is a nice car and I would not be embarrassed to own one, top up or down. Especially the R - Line is super hot looking, racy with those chrome wheels and that turbo engine with sound and nav. Sign me up.

Guys- really really liked the camerawork on this one...lots of time to look and consider the car from all different perspectives...overall video didn't seem that long because of the relaxed, but informative pace.

Love you guys's videos, but I think that the perceived demographic for a car can be discussed without revealing how easily threatened one's "manhood" might be.

I have the Jetta Sportwagen with the 2.5L, 5 inline cylinders, 170hp engine, and whenever needing to accelerate quickly, I shift into the "Sport" mode, and can accelerate quite rapidly. I don't know if you had it in "Drive" during your demonstration, but that does slow down the response significantly.

great review! ill put my clubs in the back seat and golf shoes in the trunk (if they fit lol). i fully agree with both ratings. i would like better fuel economy and a little more extras, for what you tested, i would pay no more than $24, 500
