We have a '07 FORD(!!) Escape Hybrid. These batteries are 17 years old. My wife bought it brand new. Everything still in works. Even the radio controls are still there. I am so impressed with this vehicle. It has over 170, 000 miles. Go figure. And that's not all. Are you sitting down? I have a '16 Promaster Cargo Van 4 cyl (no turbo) 9 speed automatic with 140, 000 miles made in Turkey. We love it as a personal car. I think to maintain the fluids especially the motor oil and what most people neglect, keep the windshield clean. It really helps. Thank-you, Scott. Just thought that I needed to share this.

Simple solution to credit cards.... dont use them all the time.
Carry cash, you know they charge more when you use a card. Carry cash next time if you go there.

I went to a restaurant like that. When they saw my ticket they shxt. I had penned in 2% tip, below their lowest one which was 15%.
They threatened to call the law, and I said "fine, I'll use the time to call my lawyer."
A tip is a gratuity, therefore, no low or high limit can be demanded.
It was my first and last meal there, by mutual agreement. The food wasn't anything to write home about, anyway. 😎👍

Roof top solar in Australia has turned into a joke. The feed in tarriffs started out at AUD 20cents dropped to 5 cents kw/hr 2 years ago. Now, the national grid regulator has said people with roof top solar have to pay a $300 a year charge to get the 5 cents kw/hr tarriff. Which is about equal to the yield, which makes them worthless LoL

Small companies have to pay a fee for credit card transactions. They are too small to absorb the cost like big companies can. They have to pass the cost on to the customer. It is what it is. Don't punish your server because you didn't bring cash.
