Mahindra chief engineer Mr.Velusamy is detrmined to launch a product which is on par with German manufacturer and affordable to large buyers.


They did a endurance test in the dedicated test track of 1000kms range continuous with the speed on 200kms/hr.

The torsional rigidity, the suspension the driving Dynamics are not like a cheap chines cars my friend.

Forget about the tech.
Mahindra is determined to build 5star safety rated cars.

This is best Value car.. Been driving it for 10 months .. Manual/ stick shift is fun to drive.. even Crossed 200km/hr( Best thing is I could change the lane at that speed)

I have the AX7 L Diesel variant and I must tell you that its a very very comfortable and safe car. Barring some infotainment system issues (few bugs here and there) all seems well.

I own this car, the audio system is so rich. It give competition to even much high costly cars and the quality (safety) very good ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Plus parts are cheaper compared to other competitors in this price ramge atleast for me living in India. Now i get why here in India the waiting period is more than a year or 1.5 😂 they are exporting to other markets

It's an excellent vehicle, but isn't expected to sell In huge amounts, due to only being FWD petrol. An AWD diesel variant is due possibly by Dec 2023 or Jan 2024 on early initial indications. Once that variant arrives, it's estimated that the petrol/diesel split will be about 30% petrol to 70% diesel. Mahindra would look at a total combined sales figure of about
500+ units a yr at this stage .

Mahindra's diesel engine is also very capable. Wait for diesel XUV700 launch for excellent fuel efficiency. Otherwise, the petrol XUV700 will be perfect choice.
