2023 Mahindra XUV700 review – BabyDrive tests Australia's MOST AFFORDABLE 7-seat SUV

I am pretty sure the 2023 Mahindra XUV700 is the cheapest seven-seat SUV in Australia currently. At just $36,990 drive-away for the bottom-spec AX7 model and $39,990 for the top-spec AX7L model tested here, both with seven years of warranty and roadside assistance cover! Without doubt, this Indian-made SUV is a very affordable brand-new option compared with rivals such as the Mitsubishi Outlander, Nissan X-Trail and Honda CR-V, so understandably I am very eager to put it through our BabyDrive testing. Let's find out how the XUV 700 (or XUV seven double-o) gets on...

Few points missed in the review -
1. Large sunroof that can open
2. Sony speakers- 12 of them
3. Turbo engine is standard
4. Adaptive cruise system
5. Auto braking against pedestrians
Etc etc

I see a lot of people are saying that XUV 700 is less costly in Australia than in India, But actually in India XUV 700 costs approx. 27 Lakh Rupees (US$33, 750) and in Australia XUV 700 costs approx. US$37, 000. The reason behind this is: Mahindra manufactures all of its vehicle in India so when they export abroad they have to add import duties, transport cost, etc. due to which cost of cars increases.
Great video BTW❤, it makes me feel happy when I see people from other countries liking and using Indian brands, I hope you all have amazing time with your Mahindras!

How are the 360 degree cameras? Is the video feed laggy as mentioned by other reviewers?

Wow is it a gift to Australia? For this price it stands best to me at this time of economic crisis.

Practical review.. Looks like a good unit.. On the fence about the headlights, should have kept it simple design.

This car has definitely entered my options but i am troubled by you needing to use the cameras to see out back instead of mirror

You know there's a new (very disturbing) trend in India...people are shooting Insta Reels, or even some sleeping with their hands off the wheel leaving the XUV-700 on the ADAS (Advance Deiver Assistance) feature to drive the car on the highways 😂😂😢
No accidents reported so far of such instances but RIP to such people in advance.
I just hope & pray there are no such stupid people in Australia who'd do that 😅 its too risky

next time replace these tyres with either Michlene and Yokohama city driving ... and you will see a more pleasurable drive ....in India, the top model sells for 50k Australian dollars....and ONE YEAR waiting I feel jealous

It is a good car, but it is made in India, and will not fulfil the demands of Australian dealers! They want you to buy something that is 3 times the price. Their business could not operate with this price structure. Good luck to Mahindra....they will need it in Australia!!!

Wondering why they are selling it at higher price in India being an Indian company 🤦‍♂️
