Why Having a Job in Corporate America Sucks. Before I get started, understand I'm not bashing all jobs. People need to work, and we need employees. It makes the world go 'round. But after the story I heard this morning, I got pissed off, and I shot this video.

I've been saying it for years... If you're not the boss, if you don't own the business, you have ZERO say in how long you have a job. You can be fired TOMORROW, with no warning, and there's nothing you can do about it.

This video proves it. Watch and see...

This is why it’s important not to be loyal to your employer. You need to look out for yourself.

I can't understand how people work in corporate jobs for so many years. These jobs are toxic and stressful

I am with you on this message!! Times are not the same. People can't stay with a job over 10yrs like they did back in the day. The stability just isn't there

Work as though you are a business of one person. People should have zero loyalty to corporations and always be looking for the next opportunity. Don't settle. Don't fear change. They want you to fear change because that creates stability and lowers wages.

I was laid off a few months ago, thought I was doing a good job, took pride in what I was doing learning new things.

Got home after leaving early because I was sick. Got a call telling me the contract was ended. No prior information, just fired right then and there. I'm done giving companies notice, time to treat companies the same way they treat us. Use the companies against each other, turn their desires into cash for yourself. Have a skill in demand? Jump around from job to job

This is why i hate working they dont care about you.. you never get rich of a 9-5 im glad that im already starting my side business and making money and people think im crazy because i dont want to work i cant wait till the day when i have enough money so i can quit .. and people wonder why they have soo many problems its because jobs always work you like a dog for little pay smh all they care about is their money and customers

And what sucks the most is you're a doctor...you see the effects. Physical and mental effects in other people. Corporate America sees numbers not humans. They push you to make your numbers, past your own physical limits until you start dying out and they fire you immediately after that. "The customer is more important". Yes. But so is the employee. The one who has to fight the sewing machine for not messing up the dress you were trying to sew.

The fact that you’re a doctor and you think like this says a lot about you as a person. Bravo!!!!

In Homer Simpson fashion, if you have a corporate job just go in everyday and do a really half assed job

You are SPOT-ON!!! I am living this right now with the company I work for, my knowledge and expertise is an expendable corporate America is nothing more than a number who makes numbers. Corporate politics is nothing more than an advanced version of childhood sandbox

Hard work and loyalty doesn't mean shit to employers. It's about having in-demand skills. Always have extra sources of income, whether it's starting your own business, side hustles, or investing.

My old boss was let go when new leadership came in after she was with us for almost 20 years. It sucks. That was 7 months ago, she was a good boss too and now things aren't as good. It sucks.

So true. Similar thing just happened to 100+ of us here in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

Hi Steve, I run into your movie by accident and we think alike! I had been working on my plan B before I needed it, then I parted ways with my corporate employer and I'm fully independent and happy now. Regards from Poland

I wish i would lose my job. Jobs suck. I cant quit or else I have to repay tuition assistance. So Im stuck, i have to wait until they lay me off. I pray that day comes soon.

When I go to work I always think "today might be my last day at work". I realize they don't care about me, but i guess i still go to work every day because I am not really sure what else I can do. I think about plan B though, every day

Hey I’m 4 years late but you are absolutely right. I used to work at Medtronic as a financial analyst and they did the same thing. A lot of people who had 15 - 20 years in the game got laid off.
