The Office of Minority Health Resource Center hosts a webinar to share best practices and key learning from teaming up with organizations nationwide to launch the first national preconception health resource and campaign and introduce the Show Your Love Ambassador Program.

1. Many people don’t plan pregnancy due to their access, or lack thereof, to annual wellness visits and education.
2. Prominent education that needs to be distributed include avoiding alcohol if the women is trying to get pregnant and to avoid getting pregnant if exposed to the Zika Virus.
3. The PCHHC initiative launched Show Your Love, designed to improve the health of young men and women.
4. Share Your Love has become an organization that easily creates a platform for community building and sharing healthy behaviors and life choices in their communities.
5. This organization is based on “story-theory” in which members are encouraged to tell their stories to better reach their perspective audience.

3. There are various of challenges such as not everyone is going to understand the message, different types of audiences, some people do not plan a pregnancy, and limited resources.
