Electric vehicle manufactures are running out of "gas," dropping prices, margins going down and doing what they can to make it up. What does the future of EV look like? We don't know but one thing has to happen first. More chargers.

The cost per kilowatt hour and battery density is just not there to support a full EV market. Why would I buy a Tesla that has 350 miles of range when I can get a hybrid that cost $35 to fill up and goes 500 miles.

Great channel and content. I develop EV software for a living and I agree with you. I can't even install a level 2 charger in my condo parkade because of some bullshit strata / municipal regulations. We don't even have the infrastructure. Let alone the mass production and environmental impact from mining materials for EV batteries.

Tesla is okay with their margins being lower. They just want cars on the road for the data for full self-driving.

Electric cars are stupid. Where are the hybrids with a small engine and an electric motor? Huge ranges and conveniance. Electric Torque to get going small engine with gearing to keep going...
