Great video excited to watch more about the car. I don't want to talk bad about the company but we had the older version of the subframe and removed it because we thought it was flexing under power and twisting the front slightly making the car unpredictable. When we took it out and just put a little pressure on it it would flex real bad.

Keep the vids coming bro. Weld the water plug on the front of the block. I've heard thats a weak point on the block and the splitting begins there and works around

ive seen this a few times before, typically its from cylinder pressures, more common in d series running insane boost with little material holding it together. obviously as you know when you increase boost, your increasing the upwards force and with strong pistons and rods, that force is now being contained by the head bolts, and essentially what it looks like, is the head literally lifts off the block, taking the headstuds and the top of the block with it, im willing to bet a majority of your crack is located at the bottom of the water jacket on the inside.

plus, MANY if not all cars are running a midplate with the same setup, the block only hanging from one mount, b series and k as well, also many are running solid mounts, and if the chassis flex was the cause, i think wed see that alot more on cars especially those with solid mounts.

That split usually starts at the threaded plug on the front of the block. I would welded that up on the next engine.

I dont think the chassi flexing is the cause of that crack, alot of tire shake and lots of boost can definitely help cause that, also add the ac braket with another mount it help relief stress of the mount for sure frame is designed to be stiff brotha but remember when you let that clutch go that tire engagement hit goes on all the casts but hey this happens i think you guys are amazing man
