All these comments about the Tesla running out of charge doing this for a prolonged period… seriously? I have an M2 Competition for a track car and I can do 2-3 15 minute stints before my tank is empty. EVs last about the same. Then I have to spend about £60 to top it up again. Compare this to the £5-10 it costs to charge an EV. Stop being so biased and appreciate it for what it is - damn fast.

760kw times ~1min. 8-12kwh of energy. Would be interesting how much energy could be regenerated while slowing down.
