My betta likes to flare to the tank glass all the time. I have to keep the room as dark as possible, otherwise the betta will flare over several hours without stop and he will tear his tail or fins due to long time flaring. It's a veil tail betta and 5 gallon tank, no tank mate. Do you have any suggestions for my poor aggressive betta? Thanks a lot. BTW, I'm a new subscriber. Your videos are very informative.

i trained my new red crowntail with a wood stick.
first i trained him to follow the stick
seccond trick was jumping
and now i trained him first to flare up and reward him with 1 try of jump to get some food from the stick =)
he seem like a fast learner, round about 1/2 y old
